Frequently asked questions
Does Prio read all my Slack messages?
No. Prio only reads messages when you explicitly ask it to. It does not monitor channels or read your conversations passively. All reads are triggered by your requests.
Can Prio send messages without my approval?
No. Every outgoing Slack message goes through an approval gate. You see the full message, channel, and recipient before anything is sent.
Which channels can Prio access?
Prio can access public channels, private channels it's been invited to, and your direct messages. Access follows the same permissions as your Slack user account.
Does it work with Slack Connect channels?
Yes. You can read and send messages in Slack Connect shared channels. Only the messages you request are processed, not the full channel history.
Where is my Slack data stored?
Slack message content is processed in real-time and not permanently stored. Only your OAuth connection is saved in EU data centers. Prio is fully GDPR compliant.
